The following project emerged from a collaboration between Central Saint Martins and Pavillon Bosio where MA scenographers worked on inventing a new form of runway show, displaying the MA designers collections in an immersive scenography. The show « Deux hivers, trois étés » was held during The Monaco Fashion Week in 2024.
We envisioned to produce an immersive experience that transcends traditional fashion shows. This transformative environment seamlessly shifts from light to dark, cool to warm, mirroring the essence of each collection. We wanted to dilute hierarchy by creating a space where the audience and models share a common ground. The goal was to dilate and repeat key moments and movements and transform the presentation into a performative piece.
We imagined the show as a linear narrative set in a raw landscape, partially covered with raw earth and reflecting surfaces suggesting water. The landscape would evolve through lightning and sound work to fit each designer’s vision.
It begins with a stark, cold environment – think a dark, cavernous space with a raw earth floor and reflective surfaces hinting at water. This gritty landscape acts as blank canvas that allows maximum transformation.

The audience was transported on a transformative journey, where fashion transcends the physical garment and becomes a living, breathing story. As the environment and narrative evolve, the boundaries between audience and performer would blur. The audience is brought into an atemporal climatic transformation that evolves into to a diurnal bliss.
